UK-based fundraising platform JustGiving has partnered with The Giving Block to enable crypto donations in more than 60 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, and Doge.
Embracing Cryptocurrency Donations
JustGiving’s decision to accept cryptocurrency donations is a step towards innovative fundraising, especially as the crypto market continues to rise in value. With Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high, JustGiving aims to cater to a tech-savvy audience that includes Millennials and Gen Z.
Over the past 24 years, JustGiving has raised $7.2 billion and supports numerous charities worldwide, such as the Alzheimer’s Society and the British Heart Foundation.
