Ripple Launches National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA)
Ripple has taken a significant step in advancing crypto education in the United States by leading the launch of the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA).
What is NCA?
The NCA is an independent and non-partisan organization with no political affiliations. Its main objective is to provide educational resources and promote a deeper understanding of cryptocurrencies.
Ripple’s Financial Support
According to a recent statement, Ripple has allocated a $50 million grant to the NCA to enhance crypto literacy and facilitate safe adoption nationwide.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse emphasized that despite the financial backing, the NCA will operate autonomously.
Importance of NCA
A recent survey conducted with Harris Poll revealed that 81% of US crypto holders are keen on learning more about the future of digital assets. Additionally, 76% reported positive financial impacts from their involvement in cryptocurrencies.
Stuart Alderoty, Ripple’s Chief Legal Officer and the newly appointed president of the NCA, highlighted the organization’s aim to make crypto more accessible. The NCA plans to simplify complex concepts through easy-to-understand explainers and real-life stories from crypto users.
