Sonic, the Solana Virtual Machine layer-2 network for gaming, has announced the launch of an airdrop targeted for users on TikTok. The campaign aims to distribute the native $SONIC token to eligible TikTok users who engage with premium ads or visit the project’s Sonic SVM account.
The SoniX team mentioned that this campaign is a step towards the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE), where eligible users will receive token rewards through an airdrop. The project has already onboarded more than 2 million users on TikTok, and the onboarding process is hassle-free, without the need for an external wallet or gas fees.
Partnership with Injective and Cross-Chain AI Agent Platform:
Sonic SVM recently partnered with Injective to launch a cross-chain AI agent platform. The platform aims to link Sonic and Injective chains, leveraging Sonic’s HyperGrid technology. This integration will also utilize the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol to connect AI Agents on the SVM to Injective’s ecosystem.
