Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark has successfully exceeded its 2024 operating hashrate goal of 37 exahashes per second, reaching this milestone amidst expansion efforts in the US.
300% Hashrate Surge in 2024
The additional hashrate was generated from newly energized sites, acquisition deals, and fleet upgrades, contributing to CleanSpark’s achievement of surpassing its target hashrate.
Key to the company’s success are the recent launch of new data centers in Tennessee and Wyoming, further enhancing its mining capabilities.
With a recent $650 million convertible bond offering, CleanSpark plans to utilize the capital for further growth, aiming to reach a hashrate of 50 EH/s in the first half of 2025.
As of November, the miner had mined 622 BTC with an operating hashrate of 33.7 EH/s, deploying 195,059 miners with a fleet efficiency of 19.05 J/Th and holding a total of 9,297 BTC.
