Revolutionizing Digital Experiences: Mocaverse and SK Planet Partnership
Mocaverse and SK Planet have joined forces to bring blockchain-powered features to SK Planet’s community. This partnership aims to deliver new and innovative digital experiences by leveraging Mocaverse Realm SDK and Moca coin to attract and onboard new users into the web3 ecosystem. Mocaverse, the digital flagship web3 platform associated with Animoca Brands, has partnered with SK Planet, South Korea’s leading information communication and technology (ICT) company.
Plans to Onboard 28 Million SK Planet Customers
SK Planet is the manager of OK Cashbag, the largest loyalty program application in South Korea used by over half of the population. Through the partnership, Mocaverse Realm SDK will onboard 8 million KYC-verified users of SK Planet, providing them with a single login entry point, a unified digital identity, and a reputation stack starting January 2025.
Once implemented, users can accumulate, own, and transfer assets across digital ecosystems and platforms compatible with SK Planet and Mocaverse. This partnership allows SK Planet’s community to tap into the network effects across Animoca Brands ecosystem, which includes:
- 540 portfolio companies
- Moca Network’s 80+ partners
- Realm SDK partners like One Football and MyAnimeList
This collaboration enables a combined user base of 250 million active users on different platforms to access seamless transactions and a variety of web3 experiences, including games, IP-based products, services, sports, and music assets.

MOCA Coin: A Key Utility Asset for Both Platforms
As part of the partnership, SK Planet will adopt MOCA Coin, the foundation crypto token of Mocaverse, as the main utility token for its internet services. MOCA Coin will also be used for distributing rewards on different SK Planet applications like OK Cashbag and Syrup.
