Exciting News: PuffGo Preseason 4 Has Started
The creators of the Ronin-powered Puffverse metaverse have officially launched PuffGo Preseason 4. This event offers players a limited time to engage in competitive League matches and earn rewards in USDC and vePUFF.
Participation Guidelines for PuffGo Preseason 4
The PuffGo League Preseason 4 maintains a similar structure to previous seasons, with participants required to own at least one Puff NFT. The event runs from September 13th to September 27th at 12:00 AM UTC. Here’s a breakdown of how to participate:
- Ownership of at least 1 Puff NFT (not Puff Classic NFTs) is mandatory for participation.
- Puff NFTs grant Free Chances that allow players to compete in League matches. These Free Chances reset every season unless specified otherwise for some NFT types.
- After exhausting Free Chances, players can purchase a Pass to continue playing. Each Pass equals 1 match, and for Preseason 4, a Pass costs 2 USDC.
Puff NFTs can be acquired through the Mavis Market, and players can download PuffGo via the Mavis Hub for Android and iOS devices. The game is also accessible through the Puffverse official website, as well as the Play Store, App Store, and Xiaomi App Store (GetApps). Additionally, players must download the PuffTown app to track in-game and on-chain data, claim rewards, and lock their NFTs during this competitive phase.
Various collections of Puff NFTs provide different amounts of Free Chances. Currently, the most affordable NFT is found in the Puff Astronaut collection, with a floor price of approximately 13.20 $RON (~$20).
Rewards and Rankings in PuffGo Preseason 4
To earn USDC and vePUFF rewards, players must boost their leaderboard rank by winning League matches. The ranking system consists of seven tiers, ranked from lowest to highest as follows: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Amber, and Archdemon. Note that:
- If players fail to log in for more than five days while at Amber rank or higher, their rank will decrease.
- Players in Gold rank and above will lose their rank if they do not succeed in their first match round, promoting “Skill to Earn” gameplay.
Players can vie for multiple prize pools during this season:
- Basic Prize Pool: Comprising 3000 USDC from the developers, 750 vePUFF rewards, and 90% of the USDC from Pass purchases. Only players at Gold rank or higher qualify for this pool.
- Top 100 Prize Pool: Players can earn up to 6750 vePUFF, provided they are at least Amber or Archdemon rank to compete for a top 100 spot.
- Referral Rewards: The top 10 referrers can share a reward of 2000 USDC by inviting the most new players. Each successfully invited player grants 5 IGO Points.
New players registering after September 10th who play 1 League match will receive 10 IGO Points and 6000 Coins. Achieving Silver or higher rank within the first three days earns a bonus of 20 IGO Points. A staggering total of 250,000 IGO Points is available during this PuffGo League season.
Puffverse successfully raised $3 million earlier this year and transitioned to the Ronin network, with support from notable investors including Animoca Brands, Sky Mavis, and Spartan. This marks a significant evolution of the project, which initially started on the BNB Chain.
