Competitive mobile basketball enthusiasts can now dive into the dynamic world of Rumble Kong League (RKL). The Playtest Season 1 – Ground Zero is live, running from August 21st to August 28th, providing an exciting opportunity for players to engage, offer feedback, and earn rewards.
Exciting Updates in Closed Beta Season 1
This new playtest phase initiates ongoing seasonal testing, which encourages user feedback while rewarding participation. Players familiar with previous iterations will appreciate the upgraded core gameplay, enhanced with four new special abilities that can significantly influence strategy:
- Tackle
- Force Shield
- Super Dunk
- Rush Hour
Special Abilities Breakdown
-
Tackle: A defensive mechanism allowing players to charge at opponents, taking the ball away while providing physical force to disrupt their play. Successful execution requires precise timing to avoid giving opponents an easy shot.
-
Force Shield: This ability offers ten seconds of complete protection from shots on your hoop, allowing defenders to rebound effectively and quickly initiate counterplays.
-
Super Dunk: Ready to thrill the crowd? This offensive move lets players perform a high-flying slam dunk, significantly increasing team scoring chances.
- Rush Hour: This dash ability allows players to swiftly maneuver through defenders, heightening scoring potential.
Players can select one defensive and one offensive ability from the main menu. However, it’s important to note that not all abilities can be used simultaneously in a match.
Introducing the New Map & Adaptive Difficulty
Experience these abilities on the Athlos beach court. The initial two matches against AI opponents are designed with adaptive difficulty, granting a user-friendly introduction to gameplay mechanics. As players’ skills improve, the AI will adjust its skill level for a progressively challenging experience.
How to Accumulate $FAME Points
During this testing phase, players can earn a soft currency that unlocks reward bags containing various in-game playstyles and points for the upcoming $FAME token. By linking their Twitter profiles to the game, players can transfer these points to the game’s Hall Of Fame SocialFi platform.
