After considerable reflection, the team behind Tales of Elleria has officially declared the cessation of active development for the game. In a message directed towards the community, the developers explained that the lack of adequate revenue has hindered their ability to continue growth and development. Nonetheless, players can expect the game’s world to remain accessible for the foreseeable future, with servers continuing to operate until the funding necessary to cover server costs runs out.
Upcoming Final PvP Update
As part of the game’s winding down, a concluding update featuring a PvP component is scheduled for release in September. Initially designed as an intensive team combat simulation, the feature has been revised due to financial limitations and will now serve as an auto-battler. Even with these changes, the update will create a strategic environment, enabling players to engage in competitive battles, thus marking the completion of the game’s development goals.
Throughout its development, Tales of Elleria introduced a variety of features such as world bosses, the Tower of Babel, and numerous gameplay mechanics.
Final World Boss Event with $ARB Rewards
To pay tribute to the community, the developers will stage a final World Boss event from September 5 to September 16, 2024. During this event, players will face off against the formidable boss Zorag, competing for a reward pool of 50,000 $ARB. The top 200 players, ranked by the cumulative damage inflicted by their heroes, will share this prize.

The rewards for the event will be distributed as follows:
- 1st Place: 5% of the pool
- 2nd Place: 4% of the pool
- 3rd Place: 3% of the pool
- 4th–10th Place: 2% of the pool

Looking Towards the Future and Community Engagement
Tales of Elleria will remain operational for a minimum of six more months, without any alterations anticipated in the game’s economy. Players can continue engaging and trading tokens as long as the servers remain live. Additionally, the development team has assured the community that no tokens will be sold, and the Discord server will be simplified to include a single chat channel, with the remainder transitioning to read-only status.
The developers have expressed their sincere gratitude to the community, urging players to participate in the final events and cherish the memories formed within the Tales of Elleria universe.
A Heartfelt Farewell from the Development Team
In a final message, Smashe, one of the developers of Tales of Elleria, reflected on the game’s journey. He expressed gratitude towards the community for their unwavering support, valuable feedback, and active participation. While acknowledging the challenges that contributed to the game’s closure, Smashe emphasized his appreciation for the players, partners, and contributors who made the experience truly memorable.
