After OM token’s massive crash, Mantra CEO John Mullin plans to burn 300M team tokens to rebuild community trust.

The tokens were worth $236M at $0.79 and made up 16.88% of OM’s total supply. They were locked till 2027–2029.

Mullin declared on X, “I’ll burn the team’s OM tokens. Let the community decide if I’ve earned back their trust.”

The crash wiped $5.5B in value. Mullin denied insider blame and proposed a vote to decide the token burn.

OM rose 28.82% post-announcement. A $109M fund and possible buybacks aim to fuel Mantra’s long-term recovery.
