Chrissy Meehan (formerly Chrissy Mashinsky) and Alex Mashinsky are best known for their ties to Celsius Network, a failed and allegedly fraudulent cryptocurrency financial company. However, their role in strong blockchains has not been explored in much detail. Strong Blockchain is the brand name used for several different products led by the duo and related to e-commerce marketplace USA Strong.
Strong Blockchain is described as a “decentralized, community-driven platform that allows users to verify the authenticity of American-made products.”Meehan is confident said “Verification of the American continent” on X (formerly Twitter) [sic] Supply chain = more jobs and stronger local economies. ”
Mashinsky lists himself on his LinkedIn as the chairman of USA Strong, and at one time used Strong Blockchain. USA Strong told Protoss that “Mashinsky is not the chairman.” Meehan was the company’s top executive.
Mashinsky used his role as Celsius’ then-CEO to promote Strong Blockchain products, mentioning them in Celsius’ videos. He has since been charged with various felony financial crimes related to conduct while at the company.

If you visit the OpenSea profile linked to the USAMADE website, you will see a “USAMADE” collection that does not contain any NFTs that are supposed to be issued to verified companies. However, it also includes works that are clearly inspired by, or copied on a near-extent, from copyrighted works. USAMADE Spinner NFT is currently owned by “WEB3STRONG” who is also associated with USA Strong.
Some companies, like Humid Outside, were previously verified, but their verification expired on December 15, 2022. Humid Outside’s website also appears to indicate that it hasn’t launched yet. USA Strong provided additional profiles to Protos when it requested information on luxury candle company Thompson Ferrier. However, a closer look revealed that the certification had expired in August. Protoss requested a current profile from USA Strong, noting that it had expired, but the company responded, “What’s important to us is that the data was valid at the time.” Protos could not identify a single company that is currently being validated by this product.
Taking a closer look at the Humid Outside profile, it appears that it was not verified using the NFT method currently described on the website, but instead relies on a different type of transaction on Ethereum. The address verified for Humid Outside is the same as the address “verified” in this way for Thompson Ferrier.
The USA Strong addresses that were performing these validations were also interacting with CEL tokens.
Despite its various connections to Celsior, it is important to emphasize that it is a company that is currently accused of fraud and is bankrupt. USA Strong was not included in that bankruptcy..
