The Migration of Calamity Artifact NFTs to Treasure DAO
Calamity, the popular web3 action RPG, has recently announced the migration of its Artifact NFTs to Treasure DAO. This move will bring a host of new benefits to NFT holders while moving the collection away from Base network. Let’s take a closer look at what this migration means for Calamity Artifact NFTs.
What Are Calamity Artifact NFTs?
Calamity Artifacts are NFTs designed to provide utility to the web3 gaming community. These NFTs offer exclusive in-game cosmetics, useful buffs, and early access to beta versions. The collection was initially launched on the Base network in April 2024, with a floor price of 0.06 ETH on OpenSea.
Migration Benefits for Calamity Artifact NFTs
With the migration to the Treasure chain, Calamity Artifact NFTs are set to receive a significant utility upgrade. Here are some of the benefits NFT holders can expect:
- Evolve your Artifact NFT into a unique Dragon Ring of varying rarities
- Access new utilities such as staking, P2A boost, exclusive titles, and more
- Receive an airdrop allocation of the upcoming $WYRM token
- Gain exclusive in-game cosmetic dragons and buff scrolls
- Participate in future drops and whitelists
Staking your NFT during the play to airdrop campaign will provide you with a points multiplier, giving you an advantage in climbing the leaderboard. The multiplier’s strength will depend on the rarity of your Dragon Ring. Additionally, holding a Dragon Ring will grant you access to a unique cosmetic dragon companion in-game.
Furthermore, NFT holders will receive an airdrop allocation of the $WYRM token at TGE. The exact distribution details based on the rarity of your original Artifact are yet to be revealed. The team also promises ongoing support for Founders in future drops and whitelists.
If you don’t currently own an Artifact NFT but would like to participate, you can enter the Premint raffle linked in the official announcement thread on X. Three winners will be selected to receive a Calamity Artifact NFT, with registration closing on March 6th and winners announced on March 14th.
