Empowering Oklahoma with Bitcoin
Oklahoma State Senator Dusty Deevers has introduced the Bitcoin Freedom Act, a bill that enables employees to receive their wages in Bitcoin and businesses to accept Bitcoin payments.
Senator Deevers believes that Bitcoin offers a unique opportunity for Oklahomans to safeguard their earnings and investments in a time when inflation is devaluing the US dollar.
The proposed legislation, known as SB325, allows any resident or entity in Oklahoma to negotiate and receive payment in Bitcoin, including salaries and wages.
Securing Financial Futures with Bitcoin
Senator Deevers emphasizes that Bitcoin serves as a hedge against inflation, contrasting it with the depreciating value of traditional currencies like the US dollar. He criticizes Washington’s monetary policies and advocates for embracing the future of finance through Bitcoin.
If Washington D.C. can ruin something, it likely will. And it is certainly ruining the US Dollar.
Inflation caused by reckless spending and money printing is eroding the purchasing power of Oklahomans. It is past time to start looking at options less vulnerable to D.C.… pic.twitter.com/PrMGWdi7fe
